The very deadly Emerald Ash Tee Borer is on our door step. Ohio has an estimated 2.8 Billion Ash Trees. The Emerald Ash Borer is an exotic insect from Asia that feeds on the cambium layer of Ash trees, in effect cutting off the flow of nutrients and water, starving the tree. EAB is a death sentence for Ash trees, killing them within 1-5 years after infestation.
* Soil Injection Method
* Trunk Injection Application
* Cover and or Foliar Spray
Timing is critical for all three treatments. All three have been effective protecting trees from being killed, but it is not effective from stopping the spread of EAB. Arbor Design offers all three methods of application. The most effective is yet to be realized. It is also important to know that success is not always assured with treatment. You should also remember that treatment will have to be done every year. It may be more cost effective to remove and replace depending on site or situations.
